  Pastorius wins 4th title: http://www.newarkadvocate.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2014301130029 Results from Pick North/Gahanna Dual Pastorius pinned the Panthers’ District Qualifier George Dial in 1:25 and won 4-0 against the Lions’ Allen Bruce. Pastorius is now 30-4 and undefeated against OCC opponents. Stischok edged Pickerington North’s District Qualifier Tyler McCafferty 2-1 in overtime and defeated Gahanna’s David Dembroski 10-2.

NHS Varsity Girls Bowling

NHS Varsity Girls Bowling team defeated Granville 1684 to 1630. Leading scorers for the Wild Cats: Nikki Green 174, Aneesa Smith 182 and 141, Kyra Mandich 140, Rachel Jennigs 140 and Devyn Quick 144.

Jr. Cats, Middle School Soccer meeting on Jan. 22

Boys Basketball to play in Dunk4Diabetes Shootout on Jan. 25

  The Newark boy’s basketball team will travel to Walsh University on Saturday, January 25, to play in the 2014 Dunk4Diabetes Shootout.   The Wildcats will play at 5:30 p.m. against Brunswick.   Tickets are available for presale in the athletic office each day between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., as well as during the

Booster Club Pancake Breakfast

The Athletic Booster Club is having a pancake breakfast on Sat., January 25, from 8 a.m. to noon in the Commons.  Tickets are $5 each or $20 for a family up to 5.  You may purchase tickets in the Athletic Office or from any coach or Athletic Booster Member.

Celebrate 1,500 boys basketball wins

Earlier this season, the Newark Wildcat boys basketball team won its 1,500th game in program history. We are inviting any former players, coaches or family members to the Jan. 24 home game against Gahanna Lincoln High School to be recognized on-court immediately following the Junior Varsity game.
