Hunter Thornsberry has been recognized by the Central District Wrestling Coaches Association as one of the top wrestlers in his weight class in the central district and will get to compete in the Central District All-Star Meet at Bexley High School on Nov. 21st.

Hunter took 2nd at the Central Regional Championships in Michigan. He punched his ticket and qualified for the Cadet Ohio National Team. Hunter will compete at Nationals in Fargo North Dakota this July.

Jamye Randolph pinned Upper Arlington’s Izak Wunderlich in the first period to earn fifth place and state alternate status. He matches Dujuan Booker in 2011 for Newark’s best finish under Martinez.
